Lucy Strange is a multi-award-winning children’s author who lives in the heart of the Kent countryside. Lucy is best known for her critically acclaimed novels which include The Island at the Edge of Night, The Secret of Nightingale Wood and Our Castle by the Sea.
Pam Smy has illustrated books for authors such as John Agard, Penelope Lively, Julia Green and Linda Newbery, specialising in stories with ghostly and mysterious atmospheres. As an author her first novel, Thornhill, was shortlisted for the CILIP Greenaway Award and the Waterstones Prize.
In recent years Lucy and Pam have been collaborating on the Lockett & Wilde’s Dreadfully Haunting Mystery series featuring the supernatural crime-busting duo Matila Lockett and Edgar Wilde. This autumn sees the publication in paperback of both The Ghosts of the Manor and The Ghosts of London.
