Get ready for a hilarious and creative comic book event as audiences join time-travelling penguins Pablo and Splash on their adventures; an unexpected visit to the age of the dinosaurs, a race back to the frozen ice age, and, in their next adventure, a trip to Ancient Rome!  

Author and illustrator Sheena Dempsey will take you on a journey starting with how to draw Pablo and Splash as well as creating a graphic novel strip live using ideas from the audience. A brilliant event for all graphic novel enthusiasts and buddying illustrators.  

Originally from Cork, Irish children’s book illustrator and author Sheena Dempsey moved to the UK in 2009 to study for a Masters in Illustration at Kingston University. She has been making children’s books ever since. She now lives by in Folkestone, Kent with her husband Mick and their greyhound Jeremy.
