The Cook Brothers spent the 90s together in a band, Flamingoes. (Remind you of anyone?) No doubt inspired by his on-stage antics, James’ first book, Memory Songs, explored the music that shaped the 90s and his second was a heartfelt ode to a new addition to the Cook crew, In Her Room: How Music Helped Me Connect With My Autistic Daughter. For one weekend only, the twins bring a mix of readings and songs from In Her Room to the Dreamland stage.

Jude has also penned two novels, BBC-approved radio plays and he regularly reviews fiction for the Guardian, TLS and the Spectator. He currently teaches Creative Writing at the University of Westminster.
