Lara Maiklem is a licensed mudlark with over 20 years of experience searching the river Thames in London. She Lara regularly appears on national and international television and has written for the Guardian, the Telegraph, the Financial Times and Spectator. 

Sophie Haydock is an author and curator of the Folkestone Book Festival. A former Sunday Times food journalist, she has published two novels, The Flames and Madame Matisse, through Penguin. In her spare time, she is a mudlark.
