Bookie receives Amazon Literary Partnership funding

We’re very excited to be selected once more by the Amazon Literary Partnership this year. Funding supports our Write Up workshops and local community events at Margate Bookie 2025. 

Grants like this make it possible for us to do more for Thanet’s amazing local writers and people who just love words. We had so much fun last year, it’s great to be able to do it again. 

The Amazon Literary Partnership chose 38 non-profit literary organisations in the UK and Ireland to get funds this year. It’s great to be among the Stratford Literary Festival, The Story Museum, Ministry of Stories and all the other brilliant recipients. 

Margate Bookie 2025 takes place from 4-12 October.
