Kathryn Clark

  • Turner Contemporary Rendezvous Margate, England, CT9 1HG United Kingdom (map)

Hoping to save her younger sister Asha’s life, 17 year old Calico has them both cryogenically frozen until medicine can cure her. But when Calico is brought back to life, she’s in a post climate catastrophe, low-tech future trapped in a research facility. And worst of all – Asha is missing.

In this session, you’ll think about the questions raised by Kathryn’s debut novel Things I Learned While I Was Dead. We’ll consider the ethics of medical science, humans playing god, the consequences of our choices, and the place of consent in healthcare.

Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
